Hello everyone,

I'm writing from the Cariboo region of British Columbia. I'm always interested in learning news way to spend less. I was hit by the financial crisis last year and because of that my house is in foreclosure. I do however have six months to try to sell it and hopefully things will pick up this spring.

I am self-employed and do animal rescue, which is my passion. My dream is to one day have a large acreage, off the grid, where I can work and take care of these animals, who have already had a hard start, in peace and quiet. I don't want to be more than an hour from a larger town for supplies and vet care, but I don't want any close neighbors.

I look forward to learning new ideas and hopefully can pass on some suggestions myself.
