frugality forum - work in progress

I'm working on changing logo, adjusting graphics etc. Please, let me know if you have any suggestions. Are you missing any forum topic? Do you like the look or would you prefer some changes?

Also, please, register, ask a question, submit a deal, voice an opinion, simply participate. I know it looks like there is nothing going on right now but send a post and others will join.

And don't forget to let all your friends know about the forum!

After posting it took some time (about a minute) until I could see my post ... just something to check ...

Also, would be nice to get "Investing" forum under "Your Money"

I get similar refresh issues when connected from my office. It might be a proxy caching problem. I'm going to look into it more.

If anyone else experiences similar weird refresh issues, please, let me now (post here or send me an e-mail - see "Contact Us" bottom left corner).

Yes, indeed, it was proxy caching. I got it fixed. Anyone who experienced the same problem should be fine now.

I am not sure this is where I voice this, but everytime I log in I have this page come up advertising Work at home, and I am really getting irritated by it. I sign in to see what's new not to be bombarded by pop up advertisements before I can get to the good stuff

Do you get a pop-up window? Because if you do it is no from this page. There are no pop-ups here. Anyone else is getting a pop-up? Look in this thread and get both AdAware and Spybot:

I got a feeling you might have something on you computer.

I have popup blockers on my computer, I have run into this problem four time in the past week it happens right after I log in this work at home ad comes up. I have to close out of everything and log back in, then I can get through without a problem. My computer has pop up blockers and spyware installed on it. In some cases if I really what to get into some sites I have had to turn off the pop up blockers just to access some sites.

RE: frugality forum - work in progress

Mindy, I never got a pop-up on this site. I know that the forum does not have any pop-ups. The only potential source could be google ads but google is not fond of pop-ups at all so I doubt it is coming from them.

Anyone else got a pop-up while logging in?

RE: frugality forum - work in progress

Actually, there is one pop-up. When you get a PM you get a window asking you if you want to see it. But there should be no ads. I'll send you a PM just to test.
