One word of advice there is one natural remedy on this site I offer a word of caution from my experience feeding a cat brewers yeast as flea prevention may hlelp with preventing fleas, but in some cats it will cause urinary tract problems i have come across a lot of cats that have started to urinate blood if given brewers yeast on a regular basis I have consulted my vet on this , It is a very comon problem with cats. My advice proceed with caution.

We use vinegar, baking soda, water and elbow grease. I haven't bought other cleaners in years.

I agree!  I think I've mentioned it on antoher thread already, but I find vinegar works as well or better than "all-purpose cleaners," even for gunked-on kitchen goo and such.  Spritz and leave for five minutes (which is what I used to do w/ the store-bought cleaners), a dried-on mess wipes up like a charm!

I was amazed to find out that vinegar has antibacterial properties.  I know it works great.  Check out the link about antibacterial vinegar.  Interesting reading.
